Dressing up exposed concrete foundation

Looking for some help with a concrete foundation. We just bought a new house that has a fully exposed lower level with a walk out from the basement on the backside of the house. The walkout opens out to a large patio. My problem is that we don't like the look of the full 8 foot height of concrete foundation the full length of the house. We are looking for ways to "dress up" the appearance of the concrete. Anyone have any ideas or websites to point me to? We are thinking maybe paint or stain, siding, brick veneer, etc, etc.

I appreciate any help or ideas.

You could attach a layer of screening to the concrete and then coat it with a colored layer of mortar for a stucco look.
This is how our cinder blocks were covered.
