1969 Mustang LTD 600

Posted By: davo I guess this is where you go to ask questions before you buy a car and regret it.lol.Nice addition to the forums.
I am thinking about buying the above. Does anyone have any info or advice, price etc.....

See below for details:

1969 Mustang "Limited Edition 600" 31,000 miles. AT, PS, Less than 100 miles on new rebuilt 302 (matching numbers), including new water pump, fuel pump, radiator, hoses and fuel tank. Have receipts and warrantee on all work performed. Good tires. This car is a great start on a complete restoration or drive it as is. The seats and carpeting are in good condition.
> The Limited Edition 600 was a promotional unit developed by the Philadelphia sales district in May of 1969. The 600 consisted of special order, custom colored Mustangs in either "Flower Power Red" or "Groovy Green". This promotion was only available on hardtops (coup) or sports roofs (fast back) and included a hood scoop, remote chrome mirror, A.M. radio, full wheel covers (hub caps), whitewalls, tape stripes, and unique fender emblems, all for a special price. Some of the hardtops were delivered with vinyl roofs. The promotion's sales goal was to sell 600 of these special units however, only 503 of Limited Edition 600's were produced. There was at least one Mach 1 in this promotion, but most 600's were powered by six-cylinder engines. The largest available engine on the 600 was the 351-2v.

Try These Sites

Kelly Blue Book kbb.com

For car values and cost of ownership. One concern should be insurance costs on this Mustang etc.
