Unhappy junk car with no title...help

When my daughter moved she left me with her junk car. We managed to get it backed into the garage SIX YEARS AGO. I really want to get rid of it but don't know if I can without paying to do so.
The car has some body damage, it does not run (assuming engine and transmission) and she has no title. She bought it from a cousin 7 yrs ago. She had the title but did not ever have it transferred to her (I just found this out).

Now I find out to get a lost title in this state will cost me $60! (that I do not have).

Is there any way I can get rid of this car for free with 'no title'?
Help! I want to get my garage cleared out.
Thank you!!!!

Each state has their own rules
In mine, a tow operator can get an abandoned vehicle title, which makes it legal for them to tow and junk it in the absense of a title
It wouldn't be free though

There are places around here that accept junk vehicles as donations
They are non-profit fund raising deals
"Donate your junker to the XXXXX fund" type of thing
They tow them free and you get to write-off the book value on your taxes
I'd check for any of these places in your area and ask them about the title thing
I think that's your best hope for a free removal

Good advice from Slick and please, PLEASE, if you call a tow comapny (or anyone else) tell them right up front that there is no title. Do not wait until they show up and hook up and then hit them with, "Oh, by the way we don't have the title".

Here you can sell a vehicle without a title you just can't register it.
If this applies where you are, can you not sell it for parts?
