Question MAPP gas????

Am I correct in my thinking that the hotter burning MAPP gas is not safe to use with my double burner Coleman camp stove or my portable barbecue grill both of which use propane? I'm thinking that it is intended only for industrial use. Thank you.

grandspan,

You would be correct that Mapp would not be good to burn in a Coleman appliance.
The added heat could damage or make your appliance unsafe.
The only thing I have seen approved for use with Mapp gas is a soldering torch.

You beat me to it Greg. Mapp is way hotter than propane and more expensive.
