Okay, I'll break the ice here.

Hiking & climbing? Yosemite; doesn't get any better.

Yosemite is awesome. There are spiritual moments at those heights. Memories of lying in the field in front of El Capitan with binoculars and watching the climbers who looked like lady bugs climbing up the face of the rock. I once had a dream that one day I'd have enough money to go back and stay at the Ahwahnee Hotel. I had lunch there and ordered my first chocolate mousse while a moose head & I made contact. Geez! You bring back many memories, Tow Doll. Oh, Yosemite Falls, Half Dome, and Glacier Point! You make me weep. Now I'm too old to tackle such an adventure.

I have never done more than a double pitch climb, but I did set up camp on the rock face once to see what it was like... Those guys climbing for 2 or 3 days are crazy! Next time you are looking through your binoculars at those "lady bugs" imagine how you carry all your gear to climb, sleep, cook and poop up there on a sheer rock cliff for a couple days.
