dye nylon ?

I have a old nylon tent that is orange and I would like to dye it for fun, it's just a guy tent so it doesn't have to look like a factory made it that way but is there a spray dye in a can that can be "painted" on the tent while set up.

I would think the stuff from an auto parts store might work. They have spray on dye for vinyl and seats/door panel trim etc.

It would need to be flexible of course, and if it's been treated with a rain repellant/waterproofer....may not take.

Thanks, I have used to auto stuff good on interiors but would be way too expensive to do a 4 man "cabin" tent.

I'll check out some stores, I was hoping maybe someone had done this and could tell show me the ropes.
