Coleman grill question
Debating buying a Coleman tabletop gas grill. Is it possible to put a 20 pound tank on one of those since I do not want to deal with those little cans? Thank you much for any input..

Tanks big or small don't have regulators attached to them. The appliance itself will have this part. Gotta work with that unless you wanna be messin' around with adaptors and external regulators. Table top grills are a good investment because of they're portability. You lose that if you hook it up to a big 'ol 20 lb tank!
My advice, charcoal grills cook better tasting food and you don't have to mess with any type of tanks. Go primitive!
I believe that there are also electric table top grills.

I have a big old Weber charcoal grill myself (the fins that move side by side to release the ash rotted out). The tabletop is a gift idea for a friend living in a condo. Are the little cans refillable? I was just wondering because you don't normally see them in a recycling facility.
The friend doesn't like charcoal, but I prefer it.

Geeze, don't know how we got talking about charcoal???
Yes, you most certainly can get adapters to use portable appliances on 20lb tanks.
I have a set up where you can put the 20 lb tank on top of the picnic table and attach a propane lantern to a short post.
There are then taps on the side of the post where you can put a hose to supply your portable appliances.
You can operate 2 Coleman 3 burner stoves and 2 lanterns for five days with seven boy scouts and two leaders on a 20 lb tank and have gas left over.
