Batfeeder plans?
Anyone have any good batfeeder (yes I said BAT) plans? I want to make one for the far back of my yard to control mosquitos. Thanks all. Peace: e3 - spamman

I think what you want is a bat house. Try this place for how to build one. http://lancaster.unl.edu/enviro/pest...ets/265-95.htm

Cliff: You are right. I want a house for them. Thanks for the link. I will build one soon. We have so many damn mosquitos around that I hope the bats enjoy the home and eat tons of the buggers. Peace: e3 - spamman

I have a plan in pdf format (Adobe Acrobat). If you like I will email it to you OR try the website that wrote the book that it came from.

guano
I was recently invaded by colonies of bats. I too appreciate the work they do, and they sure consume tons of mosquitoes. But I had to take steps to re-locate them.
However, just a word of caution. Be careful where you set up your bathouse. The accumulated guano sure does put out an offensive odor.
