Would sandpaper work? i need it for my physics project.. i don't know what easy way we can polish our wooden project.. i don't know what type of easy and cheap tool that we can use to polish the rough surfaces of the spherical wood.. jeezzz..

Progressively finer grades of sandpaper will produce a progressively smoother finish. Just stop when it is smooth enough.

Hope this helps.
