Talking Replacing countertops W/ laminate sheets?

Does anyone have any advice for replacing the countertops with laminate sheets? The counter tops have the curved edge so how would that work?

Unless you have the serious machinery to curve laminate sheets, it's not possible. You're only option is to replace the whole top with a substrate that is square on the front edge, and applying the laminate to it. Then, you need to have a laminate trimmer to accomplish that.

You can buy preformed counter tops relativley cheap at some of the big box stores, and cut them to fit your cabinets.

Prices on laminate sheets?

Could you give me a guestimate on what enough sheeting would cost for a small U shaped kitchen? Like how cheap are we talking?

You can get a 48" x96" sheet for $44 at one of the big DIY stores.

In addition to the laminate you will also need new substrate bd at $15/4'x8' sheet. Or you can get a laminate countertop (25" depth) for about $25-$35/linear ft made to order.
Lots of choices !
