Sheetrock Installation
Hi,
I am looking for a carpentor to put up a ceiling for a regular size bedroom...roughly 2 sheetrocks. Does anyone know how much this will cost?
Any info will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks!

I don't know if anyone outside of your locale could give a good price. Small jobs will be priced on the time it takes to do it plus travel time. Usually drywall is installed by drywall hangers or someone in the drywall trade - they are apt to do a better job than others.
That said it isn't that difficult to hang and finish drywall, especially small areas. Is there a reason you can't get get someone to help you and hang it yourself? Having a handyman hang the rock might be more economical than a carpenter [who would consider his time more valuable because of his carpentry skills]

I am a drywall repair contractor...........I would charge roughly 150-200 to hang and finish.

I am a carpenter, and I would charge twice that just to come look at it!! That is why you don't want a carpenter to do it. Drywall contractors make it look so easy and neat.
