Replacing vanity and cabinets

Our current vanity is 71.25 inches with two sinks, and is located between two walls. I am thinking of replacing the vanity, but I am uncertain how large a vanity to replace it with. I was thinking that a 60 inch vanity might work with 6 inch gaps on each side (centered on the wall). I was also thinking two 30 inch vanities with a 12 inch gap in between. I don't really want to have to purchase a custom piece, that is why I am trying to figure out a configuration with standard size cabinets and vanities. Any suggestions? Thanks.

The idea of having the two 30 inch cabinets will make for an easy install, since you won't have to worry with the walls, molding, etc. It will also give you a nice little niche for a trash can, etc. between the two units. Consider, too, buying cabinet bases 34 inches high. You won't regret it. Of course you will have to install a countertop the full length with sinks. Sounds like a plan!!
