cabinet side filler problem

The side filler for the bathrooom cabinets came in the wrong color. Being me, I didn't discover this until i ripped out the old installation.
This means a two-week delay.

Any ideas on how or if I can install the cabinets now, and add the filler strips when they come in?

Susi: welcome to the forums. If you know how wide the filler is, yes, you can go ahead and install the cabinets and do the filler when it comes in. One way to do it is to hot glue it in place, or drill a countersunk set of holes in the adjacent stile and use 3" screws to fasten it firmly to the stile.
Since you have an incorrectly colored filler, why not use it as a gauge to install the cabinet, pull it out and send it back.
Post back if we can help further, and good luck with the installation.

Cabinet filler strip

Is the filler the correct width? If not, you may want to use other lumber for a temporary filler to avoid ripping the filler which you are returning.
