Hinge Screw Hole Stripped
What is the best, fastest remedy for a stripped out screw hole
that will no longer hold the door hinge screw in a wooden door jamb? Thanks!!

Gen, Welcome to the DIY Forums.
Couple things you could try. First one being a longer screw. OR you could fill in the hole with a good wood filler and ,when dry, screw into it. I use a toothpick for filling in (or AS the filler) as the wood filler will get air behind it if you just try to push it into the hole. Good luck and watch for more suggestions from the experts here.

Majakdragon has good suggestions. If they don't work, the next step is to drill out the hole the same size as a piece of dowel, glue the dowel into the hole and then redrill the hole for your hinge screw in the dowel.
