Question Metal to Wood

I'm making a metal kickplate for the bottom of my vanity. What is the best glue to attach metal to wood?

Probably contact cement. Not sure what your metal is, how thick it is, how big it is, so mine is a guess.

Silicone caulk would likely work.

Sorry to disagree with my collegues, but neither contact cement nor silicone will work. What will work however is either PL300 or PL400. This is a construction glue. I just can't remember sitting right here which one it is. It will say on the tube. Need a caulk gun to put it on. Any Home Improvement store or Lumber yard will have it. Good Luck

I prefer Titebond Construction adhesive over the PL's. Sets up faster and is strong as hell, imo.

Here's a website that provide advice on what to use to glue things together, whatever it is. It gives you name brands (as advertising), but you don't need to use the name brands. You can substitute.
