Question Making a crucifix type clothesline?

Has anyone made or know a site for making and installing a "crucifix type" clothesline. I have purchased 4x4 post and hardware needed, cement, ect.. Thanks.

Cut your upright and cross piece to length. Mark the center of the cross piece, subtract 1 3/4" on either side of center and make two marks. Do this at the level on the upright as well. Set your saw at 1 3/4" depth and make repeat cuts across the 4x4 until you have it scored from line to line. Then take a chisel and clean up the waste within the cuts. Then lay the two boards in the form of what you think a crucifix looks like, and install a 5" carriage bolt through the intersection.
