Drilling at an angle

I have a need to drill several holes at an angle for the attachment of dowels. Unfortunately I do not own a drill press. However I have a 3/8" power drill. Anyone know of plans for a simple jig that I can build so that I can drill at angles (most likely 30˚ to 45˚). Thanks much

how accurate do you need to be ?

Ive used a speed square with a piece of tape on the angle and done a reasonable job by eye

You could also take a piece of 1x2 to a friend who does have a drill press and have him/her drill a hole through the edge of it at the angle you need. This is your template. Clamp it down to your work and use it as a guide for your holes.
