Cutting Bar Railing

I've build a bar in my basement and I'm ready to cutting the "Chicago Bar Railing". Any suggestions, tips or tricks on the best way to do this?
Thank you

You might make a jig to hold it in the position in which it would be installed. Then it would be straightforward to simply cut the miters.

When I cut bar rail, I simply rest the railing on a 2x4 in the rabbeted part that will mount to the bar. That way it will sit flat on your miter saw. Depending on the size of the bar rail, you may need a 12" saw for this.

Thanks guys. I tried the 2x4 and it works like a charm.
