doors or floor first

Any thoughts on which to install first...new interior doors & frames or hardwood floors (3/4")? It seems to make the most sense to put the floor down first; installing floors in the rough openings and then cutting the door frames before install. Does anyone have any experience or insight that might dictate the order?

Thanks

If you have the option, floors first then doors for the obvious reasons you mentioned. Quite often that option isn't available.

floor first

always do floor first then put door jams on top of floor not the other way around you will replace doors way before floor plus you dont want to cut flooring around door jam and door stop .

Doors

Per the previous posts, do floor first. If per chance the doors get done first, use temporary spacer blocks on sub-floor to raise the jambs the thickness of the flooring so the flooring can be placed under rather than fitted around.
