Does anyone have any suggestions on where I could get some plans for a playfort for my kids? I need something that I can build (not a professional) that wouldn't violate my neighborhood's covenants.

There have been quite a few questions posted here looking for various plans. Take a little time and review some of the questions in this forum and check out the websites that have been recommended for plans... I think you will find what you are looking for.

building shake covered fence posts

I want to make decorative fence posts 1 foot square, approximately 3 feet tall. In between each post I want a picket fence. How do I construct the posts? Do I start with 4 x 4 posts and build some kind of a frame? What do I do to cap the top of each post?
