hanging kitchen cabinet doors

I needed to replace several door fronts in my kitchen cabinets. I found exact match doors I want to use the old hinge hardware. How would i go about doing this should i remove the whole hinge and attach to door or just remove door- I am concerned that the 2 doors are at the same level when i hang the new ones. Make a templete of some kind? any suggestions Thanks

take the doors off with the hinges. But before you do that, scribe a pencil mark over the tops of the hinges (on the cabinet frame itself) so you have a reference when you rehang the doors.

Once they are off, take the hinges off of the old doors and reinstall on the new doors.

Install new doors onto the cabinet frames referencing the scribe marks.

Cabinet Doors

Use the old door(s) as a pattern to position the hinges on the new door(s). Do each door individually. This way, you should be able to use the original screw holes in the face frame when hanging the doors.
