Cedar Closet

I am building a cedar closet in my basement and I have exposed pipes in the ceiling. What do I do to finish the ceiling off where the walls will be cedar.

Do the pipes hang below the ceiling joists? If so, drop ceiling would be my choice as well.

Put up a 1x2 cedar perimeter instead of wall angle... put up short pieces of v-groove 1x4 cedar instead of ceiling tiles. How you do it probably depends on how big the closet is and you didn't really tell us the size.

What effect are you looking for? Smell, sight, ...?

Some pictures might help as well.

If you mean as a moth replant. I though that had been disproved. I remember one experiment where they put moths in a cedar box and the moths remained healthy.
