Kitchen Cabinet Help

We try and update our kitchen a little at time as $$ permits.
We were able to get new appliances, however, the new fridge was larger than the old (which we needed) and didn't fit properly in the existing layout.
My husband was able to move the cabinetry over a few inches to get the fridge in, but now there is a 4.5" x 14.5" gap over the fridge between the cabinet and the wall. The cabinets are not new, but in decent shape. When I looked into trying to get a wider cabinet for that area (over the fridge) I learned that they don't make them anymore. New cabinets for the entire kitchen is not an option currently.
Any advice on what do?

A filler strip was my first thought too. A pic or two might help us give better suggestions - http://www.doityourself.com/forum/el...-pictures.html
