Ceiling Trim ideas
Hello, I was thinking of doing some ceiling trim. Long story short, crown molding is a bit too advanced and expensive(exceptfoam). Also, considering that some trim on windows would only allow at most 2 inches of space between the ceiling and window trim what options do I have?
thank you

Welcome to the forums!
Go to your local lumber yard or home center and look at the various pieces of trim they have for sell. Crown molding comes in different sizes from extra small to large. 95% of the molding used at the top of the wall is crown molding but I have painted houses that used various other types of woodwork in place of crown molding.

Bed molding is the smallest profile of crown type molding you probably will find that has a profile similar to traditional crown molding. It should fit inside you 2" restrictions near your windows.
