Kitchen Cabinet Construction
I would like to obtain opinions on the value of the various cabinet construction options available to me from my kitchen cabinet dealer.
The kitchen cabinets I am considering have a 3/4" solid wood framing w/ 1/2" sides, top, and bottom plus 1/2" I-Bean braces, 3/4" thick shelves and dovetail drawers with 3/4" all-wood sides
The standard feature appears to be an 'engineered' wood (particle wood?) for the sides, tops, and bottom. (A)
There are plywood options available are:
B) Cabinets with plywood ends and 3/8" furniture board for the back (costs 15% more) - or -
C) Cabinets with all plywood construction (costs 20% more).
Any suggestions on whether I should go with A, B or C?

Option C. The wall cabinets are supported on the wall by the backs.
Glad you asked. Some folks would simply go with the cheapest and be disappointed later.
