Please post a picture. http://www.doityourself.com/forum/li...rt-images.html It sounds like the bottom failed rather than the drawer collapsed is that correct?

I'm sorry. The bottom board failed. That is what I meant. The bottom isnt cracked or broken. It has just fell down with all things we keep in it. I need something stronger to fasten this bottom board to actual drawer sidewalls. I cant take photo right now but I think it is more clear now.

Sounds like you have to heavy a load for the kind of drawer you have. May have to build a new one for your load. You can put face back on new one so they match.

If the drawer is made of particle board it is probably not repairable. Particle board is just too poor a material to be use for a heavy duty drawer.

It might be possible to re-enforce the bottom. First, we need a picture. Depending on how the bottom fits on to the draw. If the bottom is a piece if luan held in place by a groove, you might be able to glue strips on the underside perimeter to help hold it together. You may be able to glue or fasten strips on the bottom inside perimeter to lay another bottom on to it.
