Best way to find a stair baluster pattern for replacement

I hope that I'm putting this post in the right place.
I have a baluster that was split on our staircase, and I'm having the hardest time finding the pattern/model number online to match it to order a replacement.
Does anyone know of what would be the best way to upload some images of either the broken one or ones currently in place, and find out what is the right line and model?
Thank you, Andy

Welcome to the forums.

Give this a shot: http://www.doityourself.com/forum/el...-pictures.html

Keep in mind pictures from phones often need to be reduced in size.

Tried gluing and clamping so you do not need to go through all the trouble?
Tried Googling "Stair Parts"?

joecaption, I had thought about gluing it back together, but the the break ended up being too much that it doesn't look right when putting them back. And because of the location of this specific baluster, it would be pretty noticeable.

stickshift, thank you for the link. Here is a few pictures of the other ones in the railing; one showing the whole piece, and two of close-ups of the details. Please let me know if these would work or if other photos would be needed.

It looks close... the fitts 5014 looks like it may be more tapered than yours is. The details may be all wrong as well. You would want to request an architectural drawing pdf from them and compare the profile and measurements first.
