Hey guys, need help with springs on a new couch!
Hey, so I bought this couch from Macy's about 2 years ago, and just the other day I heard a pop when sitting down (I am not that big! 
). Here is what it looks like inside...
Here is how it is supposed to look:
Here is the broken/bent spring with the detached hook thing:

Any ideas on how to fix something like this??

Does the square piece have features like a staple? Can it be straightened out and reinstalled with a few small sheet metal screws?

Sometimes you need to move it over slightly so the nails/staples will have fresh/solid wood to attach to. Often the old holes will no longer adequately hold the fastener unless you use a bigger nail/staple.
