Adhesive Question

I am making some box beams to support the snow loads on my boat cover. The sides of the beams are 1 x 6 pine, the bottom 1/2" plywood and the top 1/8" tempered Masonite. Should I use Titebond II or some construction adhesive? The temp range will be -10 to +110 under the cover.

I don't think most glues would care about the temperatures once they are set.
If I was building that I'd use the professional Elmers wood glue.

Whichever adhesive you choose I would use a staple gun for assembly. The staples will hold everything together while the glue dries and provide a mechanical fastener in addition to the glue.

Thanks

Yes, I'll do the mechanical fastening with either screws or ring shank nails. I don't own any pneumatic nailers.
