Bi-fold mirror closet doors

Trying to fix a bi-folding mirrors closet door with a top track of 32. There is no bottom track. The top pin of the second door pane slides into the top track but there is nothing on the pin, looks like there is something missing because on the other closet doors I have there is a plastic slide with springs which holds the pin tight to the track. This track is quite old and at local HD they have no parts to fit this track so I wonder what this plastic piece shown on my 3rd picture is for.

That piece could be a bumper.

That looks like a pin from the door goes into the pivot side of the track. That would mean that there would have to be a matching pivot at the bottom directly under that one. You would also need some type of roller in the top track to hold the pivot side of the doors in place.

No problem with the pivot pins Pete, I have them as you described but although I have the pin to hold the pivot side of the door, I’m missing the roller. The door works good except its wobbly a bit because of the missing roller. I will try to make something out of wood to imitate the roller, all it has to do is slide inside the track with a hole in the middle to accept the pin. And the mystery piece must be a bumper. Thanks
