Cabinet touchups

Have a nice set of kitchen cabinets but there are a few scratches in one of the side corners and our utensil drawer looks like it's seem some abuse. What can you recommend? I was thinking about sanding and repainting but not sure how i would get the exact same finish.

Like any wood product (think floors) there are lots of tricks that can be done. Touch up stain, wax pencils, even markers.

Another option depending on how your cabinets are constructed, some times you can remove the face of the drawer and flip it so damage is down and less obvious. Or even move to a location that is less obvious.

The top pic is pretty much impossible to fix but a dark gel stain wiped over the offending areas should make it less visible. Be sure to wipe the excess off of the non chipped areas. You could do the same with the drawer but ideally you'd strip the entire drawer front and refinish.
