I have this great VISION :) , but no real plan. I am having a pool installed in my back yard. To my understanding this pool equipment is very quiet and at the perfect height that I can use it to my advantage. This is what I would like to do: I am going to have them install the pump equipment onto the far end of my patio. I would like to build a moveable cover that will roll over the top of the equipment and also a small refrig on the side. Also in my vision I see myself putting a mosiac style tile on the top. The sides will have to have some type of ventilation (small ones) and on the left side, very bottom left there will have to be a cut for the plumbing to come out into the dirt. So there is my vision, now for your expertise :D I am fully able to do this with the right direction. What type of wood is the best for out doors? How do I make the frame? Is it possible to make a door to enclose the Fridge? (4 large dogs might like it a little too much) Does anyone have any plans that might work for something like this? I am planning on purchasing the above two tools. I think I have narrowed the jointer to Jet, Delta, or Powermatic and the planer to Delta's new 13" 2-Speed or Dewalts 12 1/2" planer. Any comments to the above and any suggestions where to get the best prices. Thanks in advance, PS Also would think about a good table saw for use in limited space. I hear Ryobi with the sliding fence is good.
