Unhappy Brown water stain on inside of car.

Hi, I hope I'm in the right forum.

I left my sunroof open but the inside cover closed during a surprise rainstorm The water collected on top of the cover and has now caused a brown stain on the inside ceiling of the car. Actually the sliding cover of the sunroof.

When I took it to the car wash, they said they couldn't clean it, because the material was so thin that any amount of rubbing would pull it off. The color is a beige color.

Is there anything I can use to take care of this? I know its going to decrease its resale value BIG TIME.

Help!

Did you take the car to a 'car wash' or someone who specializes in detailing cars? Thin material, when rubbed will tend to come loose with rubbing and also will loosen it from any adhesive that is holding it in place. If a professional detailer can not remove the stain, then consider having the liner replaced.
