Landry detergent stain
Alright, I have an unusual situation. I left a bottle of liquid laundry detergent slightly unscrewed and it leaked into the upholstery of the back seat of my car. It seems to be in there pretty deep, and I want to avoid having to take it to a professional car cleaning service. Is there any way of getting it out short of renting a commercial vaccum or having it serviced?

The visible spot you are seeing is just the residue of the detergent. I would suggest flushing the area with plenty of water. Using a wet dry vac would help. Make sure the water is cool. You may also try using a acidic cleaner to help neutralize the soal. I am thinking possible a mixture of vinegar and water may due the trick, but have not tried it. It may be in your best interest to simply take ur car to a car wash and use the vac there some even have a uph cleaner on it. If you do not remove all the residue it will only collect dirt and then you will see that.
