My husband spilled Curry Sauce down his brand new white shirt. I took it to the cleaners and when I got it back it look as if they did not do anything. They told me that they could not remove the stain. Please provide suggestions.

depending on their methods of cleaning it..they may have set the stain with heat...a oxidizer would be the only thing i can think of...depending on the shirt...if its cotton i would avoid a protein/enzyme based cleaner as it will breakdown organic material....meaning the shirt as well
hydrogen peroxide can be used safely as a bleach by blotting the area..if its a dark color shirt..be careful.
test any diy methods in a small area..such as maybe at the bottom were it would be tucked in at
