Hi there,
I was wondering if anyone out there knows how i can remove blood from my bed mattress.
I would appreciate any help

Cold water and laundry soap. Be sure to rinse the soap off well when you're done. There has likely been penetration of the blood into the mattress if there was a considerable quantity, nothing you can do about that.

Try a protein spotter applied very sparingly the a area larger that you can see let sit 10-15 mins then blot with cold water only..hot water will cause the pigment in the blood to reactivate and set the stain...like mitch said if there has been considerable penetrated...it is reccommended the mattress be disposed of in a biohazard area..as the blood is now in the padding and can not be reach..there would be no way to disinfect the mattress..you can sanitize the area...thats it
