I messed up my tub!!! Help!!!
I was cleaning a dark brown stain from the front of the tub (Inside) next to the drain , I tried everything !!!!! I got a copper cleaning pad and put some softscrub on it . It got the Brown stain out but now theres a bluish/grey stain in its place..... Does Copper react with bathtub material or what?
Maybe the softscrub reacted with the copper?

Avoid the use of abrasives on bath and shower surfaces. A paste of Barkeeper's Friend or Zud is effective for removing mineral deposits and stains. If you used Soft Scrub with bleach, the bleach oxidized the copper causing it to leave a stain. Copper cleaning pads are not recommended for tub and shower surfaces. A white Scotch Brite pad is recommended because it is nonabrasive.
