Cleaning Cork

I am making a shadow box headboard & when I glued the cork to the backing I did not notice my hands were dirty & I got some light dirt marks on the cork. The cork is about 1/16" thick.
Any body know how to remove them?

Dish liquid and water solution on soft cloth is usually effective for removing soil on cork. If you need a little abrasion, use a white scrubbie.

You might try one of those Mr. Clean Magic Erasers also. They seem to work well on all kinds of cleaning jobs.
