We have noticed small spots of mold (dark in color) on the soft portion of the head rests in our jacuzzi. We have had the jacuzzi for about three years now and have had no problems with it at all till now. Any suggestions on how to remove the spots?

Assuming the headrest is vinyl, you can clean with disinfectant cleaner. Mildew stains on vinyl may be permanent. Mildew spores are everywhere in the air. When they discover a damp surface in a poorly ventilated area, especially if surface is soiled, the spores tend to settle in. Keeping surfaces dry and clean helps. Running bathroom vent fan during use and for 20-30 minutes afterwards to remove excess humidity is helpful, too. Mildew prone areas can be sprayed with disinfectant spray to keep mildew at bay.

thank you
thanks for the info. It is actually in a jacuzzi in the back yard. Our weather has been very hot for a while and I guess I left it closed up too long at a stretch. I will try the disinfectant solution. Cross you fingers! Thanks again.
