Cleaning Cement Front Steps
Hi all,
I have cement 4 step stairs in the front that could a good cleaning. What is a good product to use to clean and give it a newer fresh look. And what would be the procedure. i.e. power washer, scrub by hand. I am a bit concerned with getting the cleaner on new siding and in plant beds but I am not sure if it even matters.
Thanks,
David

Depending on severity of soil and stains, you can powerwash or simply scrub with an old-fashioned scrub brush and rinse with water hose. Wet the concrete before beginning. There are commercial concrete cleaners available. You can also use TSP, a concentrated orange cleaner, or an all purpose cleaner like Simple Green or other.
