i fell asleep with a candle burning again, and the votive cup is scorched! the wick in the candle was all crooked and it was right near the glass to one side, so i should have guessed that would happen. :\ (i know, i really gotta stop that, i keep throwing out all my candleholders cause i cant get the black off them) so does anyone know how to get the scorch off? i know i can wash the super-black stuff off normal, but there is always a sheer black stain left when the glass is frosted. anyone know what to do with it?

If glass was etched to give the appearance of frosting, then an old toothbrush and some rubbing alcohol may remove the stain. If glass was frosted with a paint or other surface product, it may be that this product succumbed to the heat and is permanently damaged.
Please do not go to sleep with candles burning. To be on the safe side, place candle in a saucer. Paper towels and rubbing alcohol can be used to wipe away oily candle soot.
