Brass stripping and polishing
I have an old solid brass trumpet that I'd like to bring back its original shine.
The laquer(sp) has worn off in spots and the brass is tarnished so I want to strip the rest of it off to polish.
Question is, what is the best method to use in getting the rest of the old laquer off?
This trumpet will only be a decorative ornament, so the end result is for looks only.

Lacquer remover will remove the lacquer. Once it's removed, you can polish with a quality brass or metal polish.
