Question cleaning kitchen cabinets

What is the best way to clean kitchen, bath and mud room cabinets? They are all stained, solid wood, in excellent condiiton just need a good cleaning? What's safe that won't harm the wood or the stain?

I'd start with just a damp rag and see where that gets you.

Warm water can work wonders when done reguarly. Stay away from oil soaps they leave residues.

If looking for a commercial cleaner, Cabinet Magic does an excellent job of cleaning cabinets. Most pre-manufactured cabinet finishes today are catalyzed lacquer. Manufacturers tend to recommend mild soap & water solution. Wipe with plain water to rinse and buff dry.
