Calciaum and rust

I bought an old teapot and I am trying to remove the lime and rust in it. I have tried vinager and lime away. I need other ideas

You do not say what the teapot is made of. Assuming it is porcelain or china or pottery, you can make a paste of BarKeeper's Friend or Zud and put on stains and let set. These products contain rust remover. Rub with scrubbie, repeat if necessary. Forum posters report Whink is good for removing rust stains. If teapot is metal, you can use the same procedure. Or, you can boil vinegar in it and let set to dissolve mineral stains. For rust, you can then use the BarKeeper's Friend or Zud.
