Unhappy Blackcurrant Stain on Wood

Does anyone have any suggestions on how to remove old blackcurrant stains from wood?

Many thanks

mitch brings up a great question..if the wood is finished it may of sealed the stain out...refinishing of the wood may provide the answer here...depending on what you are working on ie: wood floor this may not be possible or within budget

so we would have to really know what you are working with...if the finish can be removed and the stain is still there...wood bleach or oxalic acid, may be able to take it out...that i have used on water stains on unsealed wood
