Hi peeps!
Newbie here :-)
I had a brand new pure white bathroom suite installed last year.
Silly me has gone and got hairdye on the bath and the outer bathroom panel (plastic, but different type of plastic to the bath.)
As I dye my regularly a red/purple colour, this looks like blood stains and just ain't pretty
:-(
Any ideas on how to remove / reduce the colour?
Thanks in advance for any help offered.

Plastic is porous and absorbent. Hair dye stains are likely permanent. Pick up some 20% hydrogen peroxide from the beauty supply and try blotting from outside stains toward middle to prevent spreading. You may possibly be able to lighten stains.

Okay, Mitch, educate me ...... what is the difference between using bleach or hydrogen peroxide? My guess is that the bleach would cause damage to the plastic......whereas hydrogen peroxide is gentler on surfaces....

Peroxide tends to be a little safer to use - less likely to damage the material from which you're trying to lift the stain. Tubs are not my deal, but I know you can reasonably use peroxide on carpet, but regular chlorine bleach will ruin it. The chlorine bleach will propbably have a greater chance of removing the stain, but wrecking the material in the process. That said, soft scrub with bleach strikes me as something reasonable to try.
