A friend's daughter accidentally smeared pink glittery nail polish on my dark brown microfiber (!!!) sofa (with non-reversible cushions). Is there anything that will take this off or make it less apparent? Can I bring it to some kind of cleaner? What will make this better?

Dry erase marker was used on the rough side of a frosted glass panel. It was wiped off, but it left a discoloration on the glass in the shape of what had been drawn. Looks almost as if it were an oily film. I have tried: Isopropyl alcohol, windex, vinegar, dish soap, comet scouring powder. Nothing has had any effect whatsoever. Anyone have any suggestions on how to remove these stains? Did the marker somehow etch itself on the glass? (I looked and the 'texture' of the frosted glass looks unchanged compared to the non stained). So far searching through these forums and googling has not provided anything that worked.
