yellowed marble

Our shower has a marble threshold that has some yellow discoloration. Does anyone have any tips for how to remove it?

Keeping marble sealed helps prevent stains. There are different poultices available depending on stain type--oil, rust, food, etc. Depending on type of stain and severity, marble polish may remove the stain. Go to www.stonecare.com and click Problem Solving to determine which poultice you need. You can also view sealer and polish products. Care and maintenance of marble requires the use of products recommended for natural stone. Avoid exposure to household cleaners and chemicals.

Cleaning the oxidation out of a oven

A tenant of mine used some type of oven cleaner in a self cleaning oven. Now the oven has this white crud like stuff on the walls I assume to be oxidation. What can I use to clean this ? Thank You.

cleaning smears off new beveled mirror

We just got a new beveled mirror. It hangs over a fireplace and 2 recessed lights shine across it. No matter what I've used, I can't get this fogginess off the surface. It tends to just continually smear around. I have used vinegar and water as well as multiple glass cleaners. Could this be some residue from whatever they use to bevel the mirror glass? I assume they use some type of cooling fluid. I wonder what additives it has in it. The manufacturers say they haven't had any issues like this. Thanks. Dave
