Clean suntan lotion from car?
Hi, I use a white-toned suntan lotion that has gotten on both the dashboard and leather in my car. Any advice on how to clean this? Thanks

Warm, soapy water to which a few drops of ammonia have been added and soft cloth should clean sun tan lotion off dash. If you desire to use a commercial cleaner, just about any all-purpose cleaner should work.
Sun tan lotion on leather will likely darken the leather. Follow owner's manual for cleaning of leather. There are many types of leather, dyes, and finishes. DIY cleaners, especially those containing solvents, can take a toll on leather, dye, and/or finish. If determined to DIY, whip mild soap and water to create lots of suds. Apply suds only to the leather with soft cloth to clean. Follow up with leather cleaner and conditioner. Check with your auto dealership or local auto suppy for cleaner/conditioner kit for auto leather.
