screened lanai

New to Florida and our house has a screened lanai that is green from algae. How do I clean it without damaging the screens, the pool, the plants?
Also suggestion on how to keep my tools from rusting. I was told it will be an issue.

I good outside bleach or deck cleaner in a pressure washer...at a good distance may work. Home improvement stores have chems that are made for the exterior which they shouldnt hurt plants or the environment.

As for the tools..i would say a good rust preventative spray paint.

For the algae on the screening, pressure washer set to a wide fan spray at a distance of a couple of feet. I do mine a couple of times a year. Just don't use too narrow a spray pattern or get too close.
